I’ll Tell You What…

The fire alarm went off again last night but this time it happened at 10pm instead of 5am. No, there wasn’t a fire or even a lit candle. This time a hot water pipe burst in the ceiling of the first floor flooding two of the apartments. The water rushed out quickly and the water vapor filled one end of the building. The water coming out of that pipe was so hot it took the cheap paint right off the wall.

And, I was just about to get in the shower when it happened, too.

From the National Weather Service tonight: “Areas Of New England Along And South Of The Massachusetts Turnpike Will Experience Increasing Northwest Winds Tonight… With Speeds Reaching 15 To 30 Mph. This Will Combine With Temperatures Of 6 To 12 Below Zero To Create Dangerously Cold Wind Chill Values Of 25 To 40 Degrees Below Zero.“
