I’ll Tell You What…

Here we go…

Filed under: Prayer — Larry @ 8:14 pm

Tomorrow’s the day I say goodbye to a close friend: my gall bladder. While the surgeon’s in there a liver biopsy will be taken to see what’s up with my liver function test numbers.

Prayers at 1:00 PM EST would be greatly appreciated. :)

  1. You said, “Prayers at 1:00 PM EST would be greatly appreciated”. I cannot promise that I will pray at 1:00 PM EST. It may be 1:07. Or, I may just forget. So, I’ll offer this prayer now.

Dear Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,

I bring this brother before You with his concern about surgery and biopsy. First of all, I ask that You would give him a sense of Your presence, and of Your loving hand in all of this. Secondly, I ask that You would guide this procedure, that it would go smoothly and that recovery would be as painless as possible. I ask that You use this experience to accomplish Your purposes, in whatever way You deem best. AMEN

  4. Thank you for the prayer, Michael, and for the uplifting words, Milton..

ika_jifri, thanks for the kind words. I would be more than happy to fill out a questionnaire for you. Please keep in mind that I had gall bladder surgery on Friday so I may be a little slow in completing the questionnaire. :)
