Here we go…
Tomorrow’s the day I say goodbye to a close friend: my gall bladder. While the surgeon’s in there a liver biopsy will be taken to see what’s up with my liver function test numbers.
Prayers at 1:00 PM EST would be greatly appreciated.

You said, “Prayers at 1:00 PM EST would be greatly appreciated”. I cannot promise that I will pray at 1:00 PM EST. It may be 1:07. Or, I may just forget. So, I’ll offer this prayer now.
Dear Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
I bring this brother before You with his concern about surgery and biopsy. First of all, I ask that You would give him a sense of Your presence, and of Your loving hand in all of this. Secondly, I ask that You would guide this procedure, that it would go smoothly and that recovery would be as painless as possible. I ask that You use this experience to accomplish Your purposes, in whatever way You deem best. AMEN

Thank you for the prayer, Michael, and for the uplifting words, Milton..
ika_jifri, thanks for the kind words. I would be more than happy to fill out a questionnaire for you. Please keep in mind that I had gall bladder surgery on Friday so I may be a little slow in completing the questionnaire.
